Bio



Savannah Mitchell is an Oklahoma-based artist with a BA in Psychology and a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Oklahoma. Specializing in painting and ceramics, her work focuses primarily on individual psychological processes experienced at the societal scale and the blending of cultures in an age of globalization. Since 2008, she has taught hundreds of workshops on a wide spread of topics including Chinese brush painting, stray sock sewing, Mexican folk art, and more. Her work has been exhibited across Oklahoma and resides in private collections around the world. She has also gained notoriety as a maker of geeky crocheted items since 2011.
